Cross stitch pattern from Hands Across the Sea Samplers. Reproduction of a piece stitched by 10 year old Susanna Millne in 1843. Stitched in a simple spring palette of pale yellows, greens, and browns. The passage at the top reads "Father God who sees in me, only sin and misery, turn to thy anointed one, look on thy beloved Son. Him, and the sinner, see, look thro' Jesus' wounds on me." Surrounded by a simple vine and flower border. Stitch count 277w x 347h.
