Cross stitch pattern from Hands Across the Sea Samplers. A reproduction of a sampler stitched by Jane Vaughan at the age of seven. It is worked in the long, narrow band form which was common in the 17th century. The many rows are stitched in a variety of cross stitch and other embroidery stitches, making this piece suitable for intermediate stitchers. Stitch count 168w x 680h.
