Luhu Stitches

Inspired by color from her crayon box, instilled with a love of textiles by her Mom and armed with a background in graphic design Cyndy Young of Luhu Stitches loves to create bright and whimsical cross stitch designs. Her designs usually begin with doodles in a notebook that she tries to carry with her everywhere but have been known to show up on napkins, church bulletins and receipts. The doodles then go to her drawing pad and graph paper where she begins matching various threads to her crayon choices. After inputting the design into a computer program the pattern is stitched to make sure everything is working together to complete a design that is fun to stitch and a pleasure to display.
