Bergen Linen, a beautiful 100% fine linen fabric from Zweigart for fine embroidery, counted cross stitch, hardanger, and other counted thread embroidery. 100% linen. 41/46 stitch count, so an uneven evenweave. All high count linens will vary as they are woven. We strongly suggest counting out a square inch in both directions on your particular piece of fabric before beginning to stitch to check the actual stitch count of that piece. Linens are usually stitched over two threads, so 46ct linen stitches up as 23 count. For cross stitch on this fabric, we recommend a size 28 tapestry needle, 1 strand of floss for stitching, and 1 strand for backstitching.
